Galatians 1:6,9 (KJV)
I marvel that ye are so soon removed from Him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: [9] As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
Lord, today You reminded me of the everlasting truth of the one true Gospel. I thank You for the faithful men and women of God who have followed and preached Your true and only Gospel. They have been tremendous inspirations to me from the day I was born again. Through them, and the Word, You have helped me to discern the genuine from "other gospels" that are out there to please man.
Please, keep me pure in Your Word. As a teacher of Your Word, I am extremely accountable for what I teach. And as those who will hear and pass along to others what they have learned through me, it must be the genuine to be accepted by You. The responsibility is great to preach and teach the one and only true Gospel. I pray that Your Word sinks deep in my spirit and soul, so that I will have the pure living water flowing up through me for others.
Thank You for this gift, the Word of God. Thank You for the Holy Spirit. Thank You for not leaving us. You have kept us by Your Word, and we who remain in Your Word remain and abide in Jesus. Father, as you use me for Your service, may those I come in contact with desire to know and love the one true Gospel, the Word of God. I ask this in the powerful name of Jesus, my Savior and Lord.
