BRING SOMETHING TO
THE TABLE FROM THE LORD!!!

THE ROOT OF UNITY IN THE SPIRIT -
Ephesians 4
If God, by Holy Spirit, says something to believe, say, or
do, and you don’t believe what He says, then you are not in agreement
or unity with God, with Holy Spirit!
AGREEING WITH GOD MUST COME FIRST!!!
Unity in the Spirit means that you are united with God in
what He says and commands to and for believers.
When believers get together, this unity of/in the Spirit is the “one
accord” that God wants. Remember the
“one accord” in the upper room! Jesus
was definitely in one accord with the Father.
Jesus said, “My doctrine is not mine, but His that sent Me.” John 7:16 He was in pure agreement and unity with the
Father.
This is the dilemma!
By trying to be in unity with others, but not being in
agreement with God, this unity is only skin deep! Agreeing to agree under one roof for one
event, etc., one can pull this off temporarily.
However, the undercurrent of disagreement is SO REAL ,
that looking at it from the Lord’s perspective, it is a false unity, and as
well, doctrinal/denominational division.
This is the remedy!!!
Unity comes from the Root of God outward, not from the
branches to the Root. The branches can
blow in the breeze in sync; however, they can do this independent of the
root. When one totally and purely agrees
with God, then the branches are thoroughly nourished; they flower, bear fruit,
sway harmoniously in the breeze, and thrive as they are supposed to.
Until you agree
with God, you will not live and thrive in God-ordained unity with others!
